C30 Cryptocoryne parva is a highly valued foreground plant known for its true dwarf size, durability, and natural appearance. Native to Sri Lanka, this Cryptocoryne species remains short even under higher light, making it an excellent alternative to carpeting plants in both low-tech and high-tech aquariums. Unlike many Cryptocoryne varieties, Cryptocoryne parva has a narrow, grass-like leaf structure that spreads slowly through runners once established. While it is slow growing, patience is rewarded with a dense, uniform foreground carpet. CO₂ injection and nutrient-rich substrates significantly improve growth speed but are not mandatory. This plant may experience Crypt melt when first introduced, which is normal. With stable water conditions, it recovers and grows steadily. It is fully shrimp-safe and fish-safe, making it ideal for community tanks and aquascaping layouts.
